True Princess: Inner Beauty

Angel had woken up for the first time living in her castle.  Her mother married into a royal family, she married the king of Pelusa. Angel had no idea how to be a princess, so everyday she'd sit in her room and practice things to say when she was called to the head castle room. Everyone always made fun of her because she wasn't into being a princess, she was always more a tomboy, she got called names like dike, idiot, ugly the other girls made her feel terrible. Angel couldn't take it one day, she got fed up with their bullying so she ran away from home. Angel ran for as long as she could. She had no idea where she was going but she just kept on running. She ended up at a house near the woods, she thought it looked like a nice loving house so she knocked on the door. A old man answered, he looked harmless really. He invited her in for some tea and cookies. Angel happily accepted. Meanwhile back at the castle Angel's mother Hannah was going crazy looking for her, she sent out everyone on a search party, she'd rather die then not know where her daughter was. All the other princesses were glad she was gone. They hated her, they couldn't have cared less what happened to her, as long as she wasn't in that castle anymore. King Robert was furious the guards just let her out, he yelled and screamed demanding to know why they hadn't been more careful, why they hadn't been watching after a princess. The king ran off in a hurry to go find his daughter, he knew Hannah would never forgive him if he hadn't. He followed a trail of foot prints in the dirt. He supposed they came from Angel. He ran up to a house where he saw someone boiling a pot of water. He knocked on the door and an old women answered she went into shock, she couldn't believe the king had knocked on her door. After the king explained what had happened she offered to help find his daughter. The king greatly accepted and together they ran off into the woods in search of Angel. Meanwhile back with Angel she had seen her father, she was trapped in the old woman's house, little did her father know the little old woman was the little old man who trapped Angel. Angel had to save her father, even if she didn't know what to do, she would be there for her new father, she didn't want him to die like her other father. She noticed a knife on the floor, she kicked her shoes off and grabbed it by the handle with her feet. She carefully raised her feet and took the knife into one had and began to cut the tape off her wrists. When she finally got up she dashed out the door running to find her father. After miles and miles of running she saw them deep into the woods, her father was laid out on the floor with the old woman standing over him. Angel grabbed a pile of rocks off the floor and started chucking them at the old woman. She yelled out "leave him alone, leave my father alone!" The old woman turned around and charged at Angel screaming and shouting demanding to know how she got out of the house. Angel crouched down with her hands tucked. She jumped up and stabbed the old woman right in the heart. She dropped the knife not even stopping to look at the old woman. She fell to her knees  at her fathers side. Then she heard a voice calling out. "Angel! Anel where are you it's mommy" Angel stood up and ran in the direction of the voice, she shouted "Mom, mom I'm over here" Her mom dashed toward her, she couldn't believe her eyes she thought she had lost Anel forever. They ran back to where Angel's father, King Robert was laying and Hannah shuck him crying, "wake up sweetheart wake up." He coughed, Angel and her mother looked at each other in amazement. They were so happy. Robert sat up a bit and looked at Angel and asked, "Why?" Angel looked at him and said, because I didn't want to loose you. He smiled and said "No, Why did you run away like that? We thought we lost you." Angel dropped her head and said "I didn't like being a princess, I was no good at it, I'm not pretty enough." Robert took her by the hand and explained to her she didn't have to be the most beautiful girl in the world to be a princess, she didn't have to act perfect. She just had to do what was right for her and her people and she would be fine."  Angel smiled and looked at her mother and asked "Mom, is this true?" Her mom took her by the hand and said "He's right, no matter how beautiful someone may be that doesn't make them a princess, It's their inner beauty that makes them a true princess."
